Quiénes fueron los ganadores de las competencias de Viña del Mar 2025

El viernes 28 de febrero se conocieron el nombre de los ganadores de la Competencia Folclórica e Internacional del Festival de Viña del Mar 2025.
En esa línea, la decisión final del duelo internacional estuvo entre la canción Infernodaga de Dani Ride por Chile, Trágame Tierra de Kakalo por México y el tema español Caminito de Lamento interpretado por NIA.
Ganadores de la competencia internacional
El galardón a Mejor Intérprete fue otorgado a la cantante española Nía, quien recibió la Gaviota de Plata y un premio de 11.000 dólares.
En tanto, el gran ganador de la competencia internacional de Viña 2025 con la Mejor Canción fue el artista Kakalo representado a México.
El cantante se llevó una Gaviota de Plata, un premio de 35.000 dólares y podrá interpretar nuevamente el tema que le dio el triunfo en el certamen durante la noche de cierre este sábado 1 de marzo.

Ganadores de la competencia folclórica
El premio de Mejor Intérprete fue para Ecuador y sus Damas de Oro quienes se llevaron la Gaviota de Plata y 11 mil dólares del premio con la canción Canto de mi tierra.
En cuanto al primer lugar de la competencia folclórica, el galardón a Mejor Canción estuvo marcado por un empate entre Chile y Bolivia . Metalengua, con su canción La baba del sol, y Tupay, con No le tengas miedo a la soledad, lograron la misma puntuación en la votación del jurado , lo que obligó a definir al ganador con una votación especial del presidente del jurado, Claudio Narea.
Debido a lo anterior, Narea dijo: “Yo pensaba que esto no pasaba. Voy a decir algo antes. Creo que las canciones son todas muy buenas. Era emocionante tener que escucharlas desde ahí. Las tres nos encantan, pero tengo que tomar una difícil decisión y la voy a tomar por Chile“.
Finalmente, la decisión favoreció a Metalengua, otorgándole el reconocimiento a Mejor Canción de la competencia folclórica. Además de la Gaviota de Plata, entregada por la alcaldesa de Viña del Mar Macarena Ripamonti, el premio incluyó 35 mil dólares.
